2020 The greatest crisis since Hot Air began

 Its now 28th Novemebr  2020  and concern about deaths from the latest strain of Coronavirus has assumed proportions of engagement with public  never before seen in Australia or in the world. Concern about the virus has exceeded any concern ever seen  for Climate change by an astronomical mile .
  Some States like Victoria have been in house lockdown for nearly six months with business family and community activities subject to police prosecutions. 
The changing perceptions of the threat are not as great as the imperatives for control issued by State Premiers. If anything,  the risk from infection is getting worse,not better according to" the Authorities " 

The target authorities have changed though. While those of us with emergency training expected the crisis to be managed by the Feds ( ie our island home and border ) and his CMO, the Prime Minister almost instantly handed the responsibility for risk management  to the States .( six or seven chiefs)  Its all kinda strange as few polys are known for managing anything very well,  and yet even now instead of same old commonwealth   CMO and educator,  we see Premiers daily holding forth on what's needed. -  
Many said this week  the Victorian Premier  Andrews has done best of all by adopting the abundance of caution approach , Others say whatever suits them to say,  with the evidence from numbers of positive cases being the sole basis for revelation from the pulpit .

The biggest area for target change is in what we should do to help control the disease and its spread , 

Learning sees to be limited and many of us thinking types  are not sure why we don't seem to be told much  . Perhaps I can't  say we are not learning anything because no one up top has dared to mention stats on the death rate  deaths from covid deaths with covid , immunity levels , when and why to isolate  ( to name a few question s)  
These are all things that would help improve cooperation from those who have studied disease. but have formed that all too familiar power denying group called " deniers " . The ABC regularly use the term deniers even though its probably best described as " we dont believe you know what you are doing people"

The first cases of isolation were botched , but we are not sure why  as only case numbers alone are the only FACTS checked by the Sus scientism groups . Its possible isolation doesn't work either  but no one in charge yet has said that .
Clearly it's not a good look to try and explain your actions when you don't seem to know what you are doing .
"Just keep changing direction and testing" as any moving target manager/ innovator knows . 
Many of those clearly in the know say they don't know . like Nixon "I dp not remember ", in the West, means you can avoid responsibility .

In March 2020 we were told masks and sanitizing surfaces would not work and yet apart for social distancing that is all we have now to thank for our wonderful success in controlling the threat.   
We are , no one has yet said, moving around in circles - yet we appear to be all waiting for the weather to change . Even the limelighters seem to want a rest from playing God or pretending some of us are as good as gods. .
